In-Home Behavior Consultations & Training
Ideal for pups, young and adult dogs. Any training goals can be addressed. Lessons held in your home with your family. Lessons are catered to your dog and your needs. Complete as many lessons as you’d like or need.
Private Training
We can target any training goals in a real world location. Your dog may respond reliably at home, but need extra help elsewhere. We can meet at a local park, pet store or other public location.
Semi-Private Training
Gather one, two or three other dog owners for a small group class. Lessons are taught in one home. Individual attention is given to each dog with the advantage of socialization and reduced cost.
Virtual & Phone Behavior Consultations
When an in-home or private lesson is not possible or necessary, a virtual or phone consultation can be an ideal option. A specific training plan can be designed to address a behavior issue or training goal. If you are preparing for a new pup, new baby in your home or simply need follow up support from previous training. Available for 30 or 60 minute consultations via Zoom, FaceTime or phone.
Behavior Problem Solving
A specialized training program is designed for dogs experiencing behavior issues – such as separation anxiety and/or compulsive behaviors. I am happy to share referrals for aggressive tendencies (from mild to severe) if your dog is showing aggressive tendencies toward people or other animals.
Therapy Dog & Team Consultations
I help people understand if their dog is right for therapy dog work – and if so, help potential teams with training and certification testing. I am an AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) evaluator. It is common for people to pursue their CGC as a stepping stone toward therapy dog certification. I am a Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dogs (B&BTD) evaluator. B&BTD is a certifying therapy dog organization. Certification through a therapy dog organization is necessary for access into pet therapy programs or facilities that have programs.
Pack Leash Walk
Need exercise? Is your social dog shy or too excitable around other dogs? Join me, my dog and “The Pack” for a power leash walk every Saturday morning. A Pack Leash Walk provides excellent physical and mental exercise for your dog. The leash walk is social for handlers, but dogs are expected to move forward and not interact during the walk. I provide guidance, but unable to teach leash walking or handling instruction during the walk. Most dogs and handlers attending have leash walking and leash handling skills from previous professional training. We walk at Central Park on Wells Road in Doylestown.
- For the safety of the dogs and their handlers, dogs needs to be social and non-reactive with other dogs while on leash. There is no fee and no registration for the Pack Walk, but an Invitation & Rules review is needed before your first walk. Please send me an email to receive more information.
- Not sure if your dog is ready to join? I have a Leash & Greet Class to prepare you!
ON-GOING – every Saturday from 9am – 10am
